Nokia is preparing a new smartphone called Nokia G50 5G, of which we have already heard several rumors and today it leaks in what appears to be press images along with some details.
The Nokia G50 5G will aim to be a budget smartphone that will enter the increasingly competitive segment of lower-mid-range smartphones with 5G connectivity, judging by its detailed features.
Nokia G50 5G Specifications
The Nokia G50 5G will be powered by a Snapdragon 480 processor, Qualcomm’s entry-level SoC with 5G connectivity that also powers the Nokia X10 and Nokia X20.
The display of the Nokia G50 5G will be a 6.38-inch LCD panel with a 720p resolution and there is no mention of refresh rates above 60Hz. The power will be provided by a 4850 mAh battery, seemingly enough for the processor and a fairly small HD + screen, although it is possible that the fast charge does not exceed 10W if it has it. In the photos, we can see the confirmed side fingerprint reader and the rear triple camera of the Nokia G50. The leaked promotional video revealed a 48MP main camera, but the capabilities of the rest of the lenses are still unknown.
Nokia G50 5G Release Date and Price
The Nokia G50 5G will be on sale for a price close to € 230 – it will not be the cheapest 5G smartphone, but in some regions, Nokia will include a TWS headset for a limited time to spice up the offer.
At the moment, the launch date of the Nokia G50 5G is unknown, although the next few weeks should be decisive.
The Nokia X20 is an Android smartphone with a 6.67-inch Full HD + screen and is powered by a Snapdragon 480 5G processor, accompanied by 6GB or 8GB of RAM with 128GB of expandable internal storage. The main camera of the Nokia X20 is quadruple, with a 64 MP Zeiss main lens and 5MP, 2MP and 2MP secondary lenses, and a 32 MP selfie camera. A fast-charging 4470 mAh battery provides the power, and the Nokia X20 completes its features with a side-mounted fingerprint reader, splash resistance, and runs Android 11.
The Nokia X10 is the first smartphone in the new Nokia X series. With a 6.67-inch Full HD + screen, the Nokia X10 is powered by a Snapdragon 480 5G processor accompanied by 4GB or 6GB of RAM with 64GB or 128GB of internal storage. The rear camera of the Nokia X10 is quadruple and uses Zeiss optics, and the front camera is 8MP. The rest of the Nokia X10’s features are completed with a fast-charging 4470 mAh battery, side-mounted fingerprint reader, splash resistance, and it runs Android 11.
